Malvern Clinical Waste Incinerator
One of the most recent Clinical Waste Incinerators to be developed in the UK in the last 20 years, Malvern failed at commissioning and was acquired by Thermco in May 2024.
The facility was refurbished with a new incinerator in November 2025 with the capabity to treat up to 8,000 tonnes per year[1].

Plant Description
The original plant was called Haylers End and was developed under the name Clinitek and was referred to as their Malvern facility[2].
The facility did not reach final commissioing and in 2024 was acquired by Thermeco.
In November a new Addfield incinerator[3] was installed with processing temperature design at 1100 degrees celsius.
The incinerator is focused on treating clinical waste, but is also capable of processing a range of hazardous wastes (including waste oils) up to 8,000 tonnes per year [1].
