Plant Description
Drums are drained and fluids removed. Drums are loaded with a dosing system to add smaller packaging into the drums.
The drums are fed on a chain-driven mechanism into a gas-fired furnace at 550 to 800 degrees celsius for 60 to 100 seconds, followed by an afterburner at 850 degrees celsius.
Following the incineration process the drums are ether crushed and sent off site to a metal recycler, or shot-blasted and dispatched for reuse.
